Hey guys, work are buying me a new voltage tester, just been having a look around and I'm liking the fluke T5-1000, anybody have any issues with these? Or recommend me something different?

No known issues with this tester or it's lower specification stable mate. There are a number of members on here that use them, including myself. However, Lenny's probably their biggest supporter!

By lower sped are you meaning the t5-600? Tho be honest there is so much choice out there lol trawling through eBay there are dozens to choose from, what would you recommend, the college recommend the Martin dale tester but in all fairness it's limited to what it can do.

I like the Fluke stuff. I use the T120, great bit of kit. At work the trainees use Martindale, again good kit, and ideal for them cos it proves dead or live depending what you are doing, but it has no alternative use, so as i say ideal for the trainees.

Cheers...........Howard
