working locally I had a problem with an overheated cut out and was unable to remove it to start work (emergency job)
so I nipped the seals of the meter to remove the tails
then dropped my screwdriver down the back of a panel !!!!!!!
luckily Maplins is over the road, walked in and they do a cheapo set of 1KV screwdrivers
for ten quid, you get a free toolbox size cable guide kit at the same time
I only wanted one screwdriver and its VDE and seems ok but the cable guide kit is most excellent, its about 12 in long so you can leave it in the toolbox for emergencies
I am always forgetting my long ones
well worth a tenner, I gave the rest of the drivers to the client
