Hello

I have a question , when looking at a cartridge fuse that say's , 32A (32SB3) , and at the side it says 550V AC 80kA ( BS88.2 ) , can this be used as a 32A on 240V supply ! .

Hi SpotBot, welcome to the forum, I have dropped your link out to the DIY forum on your same post you made there as it gave no more info than the question you have asked here.

There is not a straight forward Yes or No answer here as your circuit design and your Zs readings play a part into what device you use as overcurrent protection, so in reply to your question then as long as you meet the disconnection times and your fusing is within your circuits limits then your front end device can be various kinds of over current protective devices.

Hi - if you have more info we may be able to be more specific :)

I think the fundamental answer is yes it is suitable for use on a 230v supply.
