A little add on from another thread

Who has been caught out on a call out and they had no fuse wire for a 3036. I remember one having to find the nearest wilkos? wondered what others have experienced?

used a few strands out of flex before now to tide over till next day. generally carry a few 3036's from strip-outs, and a few plug-in 60898's on the van.

Proffessional electrical engineers would emery it clean, cut and file the head and point off,and label CU accordingly...

Got a card permanently squeezed in the fuse box now, collecting plug in MCBs but my supplies are running out :(

I keep telling myself to keep a few complete fuses to just swap, but no, I always end up braking them up for scrap brass.
