Hi All,I have a gardtec alarm, when I set it all well and good, when I come in the entry exit zone it beeps for me to turn the alarm off, unfortunately I didn't make it this certain time, (nothing to do with the beeeerrr!!!!) the alarm went off, but strange thing is that the bell box did not ring outside, it rings outside on any other zone, can any one shine alight on this please, help would be appreciated.

Depending on which panel you have, Gardtec tend to use different user codes to set area zones, suggest reprogramming your code to set all zones, or reset panel to factory default....enrty exit zones will always sound and time out.

I know some make of panels, when you part set a system it will only ring the internal bells, set as standard, which you can change ( i found this out the other week with a veritas panel !)

Did you perform a full set when you went out?

possibility is that the alarm went into loud tone internal sounder as you were running out of time. if the system does not require a reset and does not log an alarm activation, then that will be the case. try the same again, but wait a bit longer before entering the code. see if the outside sounder activates then.
