Re: mcs sign off how much?

Tell him to do one. £250 takes the micky. They will make thousands from the install. I personally would charge at least £1500.

Re: mcs sign off how much?

I did no way.for 250 thars taking **** out if all ny training im not here to make a aerial company thousands and they havebt even did any ov training or mcs

how much could you get any with charging as an electrician installing the ac and dc side of the job fully tested and eic completed and all the part p stuff just not the mcs side of things?

£250 for mcs certification and doing all the electrical work is taking the **** but for day rate work is good money, it all comes down to your risk reward calculations in the end but I would price the certification on top of the money offered . There is a hidden bonus insofar as your business card is going to be on the top of the pile for the next 25 years for that house ,

I subcontract and carry out all the ac side and dc side, there own roofers do all roof work/ panel install, and just for the EIC (not MCS) its £300 per job plus costs! They do mcs cert not me! At mo its more like £400 per job though.

lol those that take the **** by inflating prices when people are struggling are remembered a long time after !
