was at the hager stand at elex. thursday. seen this board. really nice unit. plentyof room above MCBs, not like the schneider. 10/10 for the hager. just 1 gripe is the exposed copper on the top RCD terminals.
Nice neat job.
The design 10 are a bit cheaper and the only differences that i can see are the tails clamp and the door catch. I have fitted half a dozen of the design 10 now and am settled on them as my metal CU of choice.
Out of interest, what are the busbar prong covers for ? Do you not use the hager blanks ?
i know that, but with your ocd, you could trim the ends.

wylex blanks? are they type tested\/ like gaffer tape is universal.
What about the odd cable clamps for the incomers? not much use in this particular case are they?
They also make one without the knockouts top and bottom. I also fit Hager as standard. What I have found is that there isn't enough of the supplied grommet strip for all 3 rear knockouts.
I only needed the central rear knockout Lee, used the red plastic 'cable protector' rather than the grommet strip though, do they all come with that ?
No the design 10 doesn't must be 1 of the extras with the design 30.
Ah that makes sense, the protector is a bit more substantial and far more rigid than grommet strip and clips securely into the large rear knockout, I thought it was a good idea.

My prefered choice is the mem one over wylex...fitted this the other day it said it was amendment 3 compliant on the box ;-)
