O

Octopus

Don't laugh!!!

Client wants a socket in a small bathroom so they can use a hairdryer. Bathroom is too small so its a no, no.

So the alternative is a class 2 unit using the shaver point for the supply - so as I know absolutely nothing about hair dryers are there products on the market for this purpose?? or would it be the case of buying one with a 13A socket (making sure its not too powerful) and changing the plug??

Thanks

CPC farnell do the ones they use in hotels, and their prices are very reasonable.

give 'em a towel. i've never used a hair dryer in my life, except for heat shrink sleeving.

time for a polish?

Mmm you sure the hair dryer is not just an excuse to get a socket in the bathroom ? Is it a lonely female ? You know what like they are lol just give her the saver socket and explain most toys can have adapters these days or maybe if you do a good job and use the right tool for the job you may get a permanent position wink wink

Hairdryers in the bathroom would be a nightmare in my house, never get my daughters out of there.....
its a running battle now..

easily solved problem. open hair dryer, snip lead to heating element, daughters out in 5 seconds flat.

Got that beat, once got so angry I flipped the breaker to the bathroom lights.
God did I suffer for that one later...........
