Hello everyone just registered on this site I've passed my 2365 tech certs and I've just got my NVQ level 3 was wondering if anyone could help because I'm not on a course or got any help with it

I have just got my first unit for my NVQ3 which is 301 applying health and safety legislation and working practices I just wanted know how to structure my portfolio and how to answer the questions

You'll need to talk with the tutor who has given you the NVQ because you'll need help throughout including the site visits - it's not the sort of thing that can be explained on here. Book a time to talk with your tutor.
Search the forum archives as the question has been asked and attempted to be answered lots.
Use the search button and the similar threads at the bottom (if on a laptop or desktop)

My advice is to take pictures of everything you do. Even if you think the picture won't be needed take a picture. for example I took 50+ pictures of myself standing by fire extinguisher stations at different locations on a site and used them for my maintaining a healthy work environment in my NVQ.

Also ask your boss to let you take a picture of every risk assessment and method statement they have because you'll be needing them for everything.

I finished my NVQ with XS Training and I never had an assessor physically come to see me on site so I had to provide my own evidence for everything in the NVQ. I've still got well over 3000 pictures on my phone of me at work so just take pictures of every job you do from you discussing it with your supervisor to you snagging it afterwards. You'll need pictures for everything.
