EndlessHysteria

Hi all,
To be clear I am still new to the job and this is the first time I've dealt with this situation.

I'm installing LED panel lights in a suspended ceiling, I've used dimmable drivers connected to the switched live and neutral on the input. And live and neutral on the output.

I've replaced the existing switches with rocker switch dimmers connected to permanent live and switched live.

Problem I'm having is that when the switch is pressed the light activates, however when the switch is releases and rocks back the light turns off.

Please any advice would be welcome as I've not dealt with dimmable LED panel lights before and I know I've still got a lot to learn in the trade

You have to put in a control cable and get a rotary analogue switch 0-10v. You put these on the + - outputs on your driver. Can you post a pic? So you have one switch for mains and one for the dimming usually grid switches.

EndlessHysteria can you confirm the 'rocker switch dimmers' manufacturer and part number. If you are referring to a 3way retractive switch then these alone will not tell a dimmable driver to 'dim'.

Sounds like you will need a edge dimmer to replace the switches you already have. The drivers will dictate whether you need leading or trailing type dimmers. What do the manufactures instructions say regards the LED drivers?
