Have just registered and saying hi to all,
the story will sound familiar, male, 43, looking to change careers, come from welding & fabrication background(HGV Trailers) , want to become a spark, enrolled in NVQ Level 3 course with training provider(8 week course got 18th edition, ecs card and units towards NVQ, don't slam me for it) looking for work as a mate, finding it hard only have 3months exp. in domestic side. Have just come from Australia with the scouse missus and the kids so couldn't go the apprentice route money wise. Looking for work around Liverpool area. Tried everything, job sites, googling contractors and emailing directly. Any tips??? Got here when the weather turned good, had a good summer and ready to start working. Anyway thats the rant over, so hi from Aussie Mark.
