Hi all, I'm about to take a huge leap of faith and go it alone following redundancy.

I finish in my current job as a site supervisor (10 years) in five weeks and because of the lack of opportunities I have decided to go back on the tools.
I've always kept my hand in so that part shouldn't be too much of a problem, fingers crossed.

I'm booked in next week for my 17th edition 4 day course and am currently sorting out the tax issues and have spoken to the NICEIC regarding registering.
Is there anything glaringly obvious i'm missing that's going to bite me where the sun doesn't shine?

Thanks for any help, from what i've seen this is a useful place to be.
