Hi all, I have just bought a Hive 2 system to go with my Microgenus HE system. There is no existing external control system/thermostat and was all controlled by the internal timer, which can’t keep time.
I think I’ve worked out the wiring but just want to check with you guys first as there are some contradicting ideas online.
I’ve isolated my mains supply, L & N, now I’m guessing I run a line from what was the thermostat loop to terminal 1 common and then back from terminal 3 to the other side of the circuit and obviously get rid of the brown connecting wire from the loop.
Am I about right there? My confusion comes from Ariston’s diagram which says to connect with terminal 2, heating off.
Any help greatly appreciated!
I’ve uploaded the two circuit diagrams I have and a picture of my PCB. 5CA33F19-7702-4A2F-AAF3-296B66568D41.jpeg91739D47-3101-4D63-A031-DCF9D5405656.png7385EEB7-C80D-4F10-B99D-595EB74F4D18.jpeg5CA33F19-7702-4A2F-AAF3-296B66568D41.jpeg

Hi Mike and Welcome to the Forum !
If I may say a few words of caution - that doesn't look like something you want to playing with. At risk is you, your boiler controller and your new Hive. There will be one right way to connect it up and lots of wrong ones. I'd get help mate :)
