How to rewire a table saw

The red cable is from the motor.
Yes the blue and brown cables are going to the NVR switch

If there is no body close who can help, do you know of any Motor Rewind firms nearby, that could be your best bet, shouldn't be expensive.

A close inspection of the wires in the cable that has come out may help you identify which went where.
If you connect them the wrong way round, the saw will go in reverse.

If altering the saw to 45 degrees causes the cable to pull out, it suggests the cable is too short.
Anyway, if you connect up the two wire and the saw goes backwards, you just dismantle again and swap them round.

Was thinking the cable was to tight no give in it when I looked at it

So, every time you turn on your vacuum cleaner at home, is it a 50/50 chance of it sucking or blowing?!?! Depending on the exact point of the sine wave you turned it on?

Simples.
If you reverse the line and neutral before the capacitor, there will be no change in direction.
If you reverse the line and neutral after the capacitor there will be a change in direction.

That’s not the tool, that’s the body of the motor.
If you read back through the posts, you will find that I have already established there is a remote switch.
So where is the capacitor, is it in the body of the motor or in the switch housing?

We see a 2 core flex, so it can't be in the switch housing, it would need more cores to the motor(which apparently now isn't part of "the tool"!!).
