Can anyone tell me how to determine the transmission loss in heat please.

the question is an overhead transmission line 70km long operateing at 400 Kv has a resistance of 0.15a ohms / km. the line carries a current of 700 A. Determine the transmission loss in heat

0.15 ohm/km * 70km = 10.5 ohms

P=I^2 R = 700 * 700 * 10.5 = 5145000W = 5145kW

Simon.
