Operationally you are unlikely to notice anything wrong. There would be no obvious symptoms until a conductor overheats, which is of low probability.
Physically a very careful check of the wiring at each socket and a good understanding of how the circuit cables have been run from socket to socket may allow you to identify the cross connection but casual examination would only appear to show spurs.
The defining identification is the readings obtained from the ring final testing as said above.
