Well....

I'm after one but struggling to find one that's not in the £££ hundreds... Are they generally this expensive?

I want something that will crimp 25mm and upwards..

Anyone recommend anything?

how often do you use it? might be cheaper to hire one if only occasional use.

Depends how big you want to go Bit it doesnt have an Auto pressure valve
if your not using them for over 125 mm couldnt you go for the hand crimpers ? or hire them as required

just an asside with fleabay selling BIG cable cutters hydralic is it any wonder wee scrotes are stealing cable as they can now get easy access to noisless cutting equipment ??

I`ve had an ebay chinese job for about a year and they work well on small cables 10 - 25mm, not had to use on anything bigger so far, only slight worry is that they come with a spare set of hydraulic seals, so whether these are prone to failure I don`t know - but for the price they are almost disposable

Just bought one of them BIG hydraulic cable cutters from a police auction site , used with hydraulic footpump £200 . Picked up this morning and put it straight to use on a 185mm 4 core , knife through butter. It obviously had been confiscated from some scrote as when i opened the sports holdall it was in , what was in there aswell but a serious thick pair of VDE gloves, god knows what live things they were disconnecting before chopping them up.
