Hi All,
Been toying with the idea of getting one of those gooseneck inspection cameras. Usually have about a 1 mtr 'flex' so could be handy for under floors , inside walls etc.

So the question is,what's your opinion of them ?.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Lofty.

on offer at maplins £39.99. you need a laptop with them though. ones with integral screen are around £145

Thanks Phil ,
There's a lot of them on the market now especially on fleabay.
Prices vary,so much that I have to think quality must as well both picture and build.

Cheers,
Lofty

some half decent looking ones on the bay for £60 with the integral screens
mmmmm--- tempting. but for now, work being a bit thin on the ground, it,s stick with the torch and mirror.

Yeah, seen some of them but watch out if they are from China as you can get stung for import tax if the old C&E open it up.

was thinking about looking into getting an old colour pda from ebay, and sticking one of the USB cameras on it, that way the picture/video from it can be saved for looking at later and it will all dismantle down to fit in a tool box, unlike the integrated camera ones which I have seen for 160 pounds and are chunky...

The new Milwaukee inspection cameras are a/v with an sd card slot for saving things on.
they have really hit the market for electricians and HVAC guys lately.
