if you install a new circuit in a farm shed, does the equipotential bonding need to be in place right back at the supply in the house (onto oil and water), or as its a seperate building does the full electrical installation certificate mean the equip zone within that shed only required??

If lack of main bonding at the supply end has no bearing on the safety of an installation you have carried out in a separate building , IMO it would be sufficient to highlight the issue on the EIC assuming the client has refused upgrading.

thats a fair point - in my opinion , the shed would have its own equipotential zone with extraneous and exposed conduct parts at the same potential - there for minimizing risk of electric shock - the e/bonding at the house would have no affect to in the shed really?
