My name is Sam,
i'm Qualified as Inspection and Test, C&G 2394/95 ( level 3 )
Also i'm specialist in Smart Home system that works based on Wifi or GSM or IP Camera and Zwave too,
my background is an Industrial Engineer ( Bachelor outside the UK ) and have experience in Industrial Automation ( special in weighing system and force sensors )in past time.

Welcome, that is way to tech for me, I know home automation is the way forward. Not for me, they get 1 double socket per room and 1 light pendant.

what type of control would you like on it? would you like to control the light and socket with remote or on the smartphone?
from inside the house or from outside ?
all of above and user need and ability will clear the control systems

the Zwave is the protocol of it's wireless between main tester and auxiliary that connect to the Water pipe( for example) but the tester may be Fluke or other famous brand
