Just joined and like some advice

Just joined, I’m self employed electrician, and would like some advice on going limited, vat etc
Where would I post such questions please, many thanks in advance

Ltd Co has some advantages, but it's all down to income...

Seriously, get a proper accountant who is well versed in electricians' businesses...the initial cost will be recouped many times over.

going vat Reg you are has well go and hang your self ,any anybody tells you different ,then point them to me ,you can go down that road going vat reg in a few years time.

ony 2 reasons to go vat.
1. turnover above threshold ( about £83,000)
2. doing commercial and industrial work.

if you're sticking to domestic, you'll automatically be 20% more expensive than non-vat competitors.
