hi guys when measuring loop
empedans with kt 64 it gives me 2 option by chosing with f1 L-n l-pe which one shoul be used?? Thank you very much..

Hi,
If you are testing you should know the answer to this one,
Q1. What would you use L-N for?
Q2. What would you use L-PE for?
Try and answer first before anyone tells you, that way you may be able to understand the principle better,

Regards.

when the tester in loop mode .. how can u get psc reading?. i meant to say on loop mode there is option by choosing with f1 l-pe l-n when i choose l-n i get ohm reading sir.. my question is why r we measuring l-n?

The KT64 has a rotary dial. The settings are Continuity, Insulation, Loop, PSC/PFC, RCD, Volts. LOOP or EFLI = Earth Fault LOOP Impedance - measured in ohms. PSC or PSCC = Prospective Short circuit Current (L-N) - measure in Amps. PFC or PEFC = Prospective Earth Fault Current (L-PE) - measured in Amps. PFC needs (L-PE) impedance and PSC needs (L-N) impedance to enable them to be measured.
