Kewtech lighmate - fluke 1653b

Easy question if you know answer I suppose, just brought kewtech lightmate kit for my fluke 1653b do I have to buy kewtech leads as well .

No - just take the caps off your probes

Yeah tried that but dont seem to go in far enough - unless i'm doing something wrong? remove cap exposes 15mm tip yeah?

Thats the problem with fluke leads the scew on part is to long, you need extra lead.

Worked on my leads! When I say cap, its the bit that covers most of the tip - it pulls off, not screwed!

I assume you tested it with the 1653! If not put one lead in the lightmate and touch the lamp connection with the other and check continuity.

Just been on ebay, my leads deffo wont fit so i've just ordered some kewtech ones for £30. thanks for assistance anyhow.

bad contact because just not quite long enough yellowvanman , so just brought some it'll only bug me otherwise!!!!

Think I've sub standard leads, they do work with lightmate just not very well
