Landlord Tickets and General works ? ?

Hi, I have been getting a few phone calls lately from letting agents about various works on some of their properties. I am a Domestic Installer with the NIC and was wondering how far I should go with regards work? I mean general fitting changes and general maintenance I would imagine are fine but what about certificates, do they class this as Commercial and would you need to be an approved installer??

I can't see there being any difference if the work is commissioned by the owner, the landlord, the letting agent, or the wife's brother's mother-in-law. If work you are doing needs certification, then it needs certification. As regards being an approved installer (I think you mean an Approved Contractor) you only need this status if you are employing others to do the work on your behalf. If you do the work yourself, and test and certificate the work yourself, then Domestic Installer status is fine.
