Discuss LED 6FEET GARAGE LIGHT BATTENS in the Lighting Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

No, no no. This thread is now getting side tracked. Please read my first original thread question. I am asking people what they deem as realiable lighting in terms of makes and quality and if they now prefer to fit led battens rather than flourecent and if so can they recommend any makes etc. Nothing else. I made a comment as some one asked me why i wanted to change them. Nothing more
I got my answer on this thread that LED battens are the way forward and a specific make. Thats all i was asking. if others want to jump in and start assuming thats up to them. Read my last post on the other thread it states what i am doing on there. Not on this thread ok hope that is clear.

Is this another case of " I have a problem? I'll start changing everything in sight, rather than get someone into to do some testing and fault finding?"
Considering the cost and difficulty (inconvenience of having to take time of work etc.) of getting someone in it doesn't seem an unreasonable first step to try to isolate and identify a failing device by substitution in the first instance.

Of course, it does little to identify a fault with the wiring (although it can often offer a suggestion) but then how often does the wiring fail compared to the device connected to it?
