led driver question

Good Afternoon all,

Customer has bought some (endon) enluce 10033 12v led strip lights which has a 3.8w plug in driver included. However the customer does not want a plug and would rather have an independent led driver/transformer. Can anyone recommend a reliable make and i am i right in assumming that it would need to be constant voltage not constant current if the plug top was to be replaced. I have tried to speak to endon and they are not willing to help and the technical specs are limited.

If the only spec is '12V', then almost certainly constant voltage 12V required.

I'm using these (actually the 24V ones):
Stontronics Slim Constant Current and Constant Voltage LED Drivers | Rapid Online

I've fitted a few and not had any problem with them.

I had problems with start-up surge with these:
36 watt Power Supply for Ultra Thin LED Fittings - 240v / 24v DC

so I tested a couple of different types to find an alternative.
