Hi folks, as part of a kitchen refit, I've been asked to install LED flexi strips. Having not done these before I would welcome some advice.
The client wants strips in three separate ares, but wants them interconnected as they will be activated by an infra red detector(nice bit of kit)
My questions are:
1 how best to interconnect
2 will each area need its own driver
3 what will the wiring diagram look like, including the detector

Any more info would be great. This is an area I would like to get into, but as is quite often the case, until I get my hands working my brain has trouble picturing it all!

Ive just fitted some LED under-unit fittings they are more bulky than the strips but contain the driver inside the fitting so only need you to have a mains supply to connect onto the fly-lead, and in your case these will be powered direct off the PIR, ive not used the thin strips before so others may make alternative suggestions

Thanks for the replies.
I guess one other question to ask is, if i have three separate areas with the flexi strips, can I wire them as a radial circuit. and if so how do I use the infrared detector to control them?
