Hi, just a quick one! I'm about to replace a halogen floodlight to a 10 Watt LED flood light, the switch inside the house has a pull out fuse under it, currently it's got a 13amp fuse in there, will that be OK for the new 10 watt LED light or should I put a 3 or 5 in there?

Thanks

Hi mate. Does it not mention what value of fuse to use in the flooflight manual. Check there first.

If not then post the make and model of the light.

You have to be careful Tazz, some of these 10W floodlight can have a Circuit Wattage of 11w.... :) pedantic.. me...

Weather 10w or 11w..there is 0.01 of amp in it......you are looking for a fuse rating not a technical specification....so 1-3 amp fuse would be good wouldn`t you agree

a 13A is fine if the cable is 1.5mm. any less, then downrate fuse to 5A.

Looks like my little joke comment didn't quite come across like I intended.... :)

What do you expectr when we all gagging for beer.

Been a long few days....I of all members, should know to be more tolerant on the diy section

Yes you should Tazz now go and stand in the corner and face the wall
