ok iim strugling to find some t8 led replacement tubes.

but im not after ones with a starter im after 230v mains powered.

i know you can get them because a relative was trialing them out on trains for a while.

problem is, we can't buy the amount required to get them from the same suppliers

have you tried screwfix, electric center, LEDHut, JFGI.

led hut only do the ones with a seperate starter.

im not after that, i know for a fact that you can get them where you put 230v on the ends of the tube and it starts by itself.

bassically you bypass the starter in existing fittings then fit these.

i know megaman do them but im sure others do as well

Lustrum light. we buy all our LED lamps etc from this guy. He used to trade from e/Finchley but was moving when we last dealt. Give em a try mate we have never come unstuck with him. I know he did these tubes cos we bought some , prices were good, and he does a great range of Led lighting tel 02079987696 or google and check out range. He is also good on advice. Try him, you will not regret it.
PS he also does GU10 LED at a good price.

I think you'll find that the 'starter' provided by LED Hut is just a link (possibly fused), to reduce or eliminate the re-wiring required to the fitting.

Looking at the page on their website, one end of the tube has the L and N pins, the other has (I guess) just a link; again to save re-arranging the wiring.

T8 24W LED Tube Light - 1500mm (5ft) - Commercial LED Lighting
(This is the non-trade page.)

Let's hope they've improved their packaging. I ordered one to try. It turned up broken (the tube is glass).
