TF and the wire

Been using the Global software to copy parameters from Lenze drives installed in various machines in the factory where I work. So that if I need to replace any, I can load the parameters in.

Occasionally, when the parameters are being read, a message "unable to read parameter **** " occurs and I have to choose the ignore option in order to proceed.

Does this mean that my copy is missing some parameters, so that if I were to load them onto a new drive, they would be missing or remain in the factory setting?

Don't know really with lenze, I used to get this with Allen Bradley when the firmware didn't match.
In this case I had to upgrade the firmware of the target drive before copying parameters in.

As stef said it looks like a problem with firmware being updated but unfortunately your set up hasn’t. contact the manufacturer for an updated copy. I’m sure they willingly supply a copy for£X00’s.

I near dropped bow legged when I had to buy a program from Telemecanique, the company accountant was after me for weeks!
