Hello all,

My first post on this forums.

I've installed couple of those remote control (rf433) light switches in my house but having trouble with the wiring in my bedroom.

Most of the other switches had live and neutral but my room switch (1 way 1 gang) has a different wiring, picture attached.

I'm guessing I need to take one or more blue wire and put it in the common and join the current brown wires together.

Please check the pictire and let me know.

Thanks

The two browns together are the live in, live out loop and the single brown goes to the light fitting. The blues are all neutral and should be kept together. Post a pic of the new switch.

OP - You've misunderstood the other switches when you say single live and neutral, what they'll be is a live and switched live if it's the only cable at the switches. What you've suggested for the switch pictured would go bang and most likely ruin the switch too.

Thanks for the reply.

The switch for the bathroom just had blue and brown. The touch remote switch works fine there.

The question is, how can I install the touch remote switch on this switch with the wiring you see in the original post?

I do have Philips hue bulb installed in my room which could be the issue.

So I have found the issue. It's the Philips hue led bulb. It doesn't play nice with the switch. Replace the hue bulb with a standard one and it works fine .

Sorry for the post and thank you for the assistance.

That switch and instruction leaflet look very dodgy, the incredibly poor English and lack of the usual ratings and approvals make me think this product is unlikely to be safe to install.

it's CE approved ... Chinese Excrement..
