customer i am installing soffit lights for wants to control the lights by remote, so i am thinking having the lights connected to the transmitter then a on off remote control, has anyone used these before and can recommend any ?

Hi JM Electrical, you could use a remote RF switching box, from RS: RF Solutions ELITE-S4 Remote Control System & Kit,869.5MHz 250m. RS Stock No.793-4420.
 
use a relay with remote control, easy to do just remember and leave yourself space to fit the relay, i manage to get them into a 1g fast fix but a double may have been better
