Looking for experience,

I am interested in becoming an electrician, currently I am in the forces at RAF Waddington, I am looking at doing a couple of days a month working/helping anyone who would have me to build some experience and aquire knowledge where I can. Obviously I don't want paying, I just want to learn, if there is anyone in the Lincoln area who would be interested in letting me come along for a day or knows of somebody who would be willing to take me on now and again then please get in touch. Yeah the usual City guilds introductory text books and iet guidance notes. In their free time if they can learn the books back to front it will give the chaps a boost when they're ready to do formal training.

Thanks for the advice. I have been reading up for about a year now I just feel like I need to start seeing things and getting hands on for things to make more sense.
