Low voltage with data cables

I am am looking for some guidance from the experts. My business is building control systems etc.

I am installing a system in a small office complex to control the radiators, each radiator is fitted with a 24 V operated actuator (6W) to turn the radiator on and off. These are switched by relays in a central controller to send 24V to the actuator.

The easiest way to route the 24V line is along an existing tray carrying network cables (Cat6) and then into a data dado rail.

I am aware that POE sends 44-57V down a Cat 6 cable, so my assumption is that there is nothing in the regs that would preclude me running my 24v lines by this routing. I could use Cat6 cable for the 24V lines if there was any issue with interference but that seems unlikely as POE does this anyway.

My main concern is whether anything in the regs precludes this and if not, what possible regs might apply to containment or cable type.

I cannot see an issue but I would allow a separation gap on the tray particularly if your circuits are ac.

We run -48 VDC next to data regularly with no adverse effects.

Thanks, consensus seems to be no issue with data interference.
However woul still like any advice on possible infringements of the regs.

Only possible way that it could cause interference is when energising or de-energising the actuator.

Although I doubt it would effect a properly screened cat 6 cable.

The actuator is a wax capsule with a heating element

Also the IT dept are making a few noises so if I run the 24v in the same cable tray as mains are there any implications for cable type/spec?

you would need to use cable that is insulated to the same voltage as the higher voltage in the tray. i.e. 240V. that's the regs.side of it.
