Hi

Anyone got any advice which transformers I might use for Lutron Dimmers, my wholesaler isnt to sure if his bog standard 230/12V will suffice?

Cheers

I would say Aurora AU-E60s would be fine, some of the best transformers i've used but there's no guarantee Lutron will like them. Do they have any specs on the Lutron website?

couldnt you use something that doesnt require a transformer?? fitted lutron kit on a house in edinburgh all gu10 downlights LED stuff round underside of worktop n dimmable flouries above wall units plighting

"bog standard 230/12V will suffice" They will be fine.

Maybe initially, but perhaps not in the longer term as many "built to a price" electronic transformers don't like being dimmed for long periods.

Kiers190 doesn't say which Lutron dimmers/system is being used, but Lutron make their own transformers, so a call to their UK office should confirm if they are recommended for the particular dimmer model in use.
Cost should be about £15-£18 from a wholesaler (can have no cables, input/output, or both), in 60 or 105va, and well worth it to prevent future call backs.
