Discuss MAD bits? multi angle drilling bits - Wood. in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

not used them before but the name is right they look mad :D would not mind having a go with them though. if you end up spending let us know how they go
 
Have a set of these got them a few years ago in Germany never had them sharpened yet.

I used a couple of the mad bits this summer in an angle drill going through joists. most useful if the joists aren't quite far enough apart to start off dead straight. 15mm and 20mm ( I think) lasted the whole rewire of 5 bed house. I found them to cut nice and quick and clean even with the reduced totque of an angle drill
