Hi
I have a small questions.
I work in a small industrial company as a woodworker.

I already have:

- 17th Edition, City & Guilds 2382,

- 2377-22 Award in the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment,

- 2377-32 Award in the Management Requirements for the Maintenance of Electrical Equipment,

- I also have a Diploma of Obtaining Professional Title "Technician electrician." UK NARIC said That the diploma is recognized Considered comparable to the N / SVQ Level 3 standard.

My questions are:

Do I need to be a member of any organization(NAPIT, NICEIC) to be maintenance on my work place?

Can I legally carrys out repairs, adding new socket and light points, wiring a new electric circuit?

Can I issue certificates for electrical work done.

Thanks
MArtin

The legal requirement is competence to do the work correctly and accurately and without risk to yourself and others.
If you have that and are providing the correctly completed certificates for the work you are doing, i.e it has been inspected and tested and is in compliance with the wiring regulations then you are OK.
You must issue certificates for installation work (for maintenance repairs it is not required, but can be provided.)
