Been to a job in a poultry unit and there are some moller PKZM manual motor starters connected to 3 phase busbar in a consumer unit, not sen it done like this before. This is in a sub board supplied by a C32 TP mcb. Is this technically to regs? Do these starters cover short circuit as well as over current?
All help much appreciated

I've seen it a few times, some manual motor starters are rated to be installed as MCB and motor protection directly off the busbars.
