hi, all. megger1552 on continuity- null leads by shorting out and pressing "test", reads 10ohms. press "test" a second time and it reads 0.00. is this normal ( tester just purchased 2nd hand, every other function works and gives very close results to calibrated MFT.)

Hi mate,

Just did it with mine for you.:)

When I turn it on to continuity, it reads >99.9 Kohms.

When I short the leads together, I get reading of 0.07 ohms (Megger standard leads)

Press test button once - reads 0.00 ohms (leads nulled)

Hope this helps.

thats how it should be, but mine reads 10.2ohms when i short out and press test. only if i press test again does it read 0.00. Come back AVO model 7 (1968) ( never lets me down and no fluctuating readings.) All is forgiven

good idea, but same leads no prob on ins.test, RCD test and Zs
