Batteries & fuses are worth a look will check when I'm back to site does anyone know if there are specific error definitions available thanks

Try phoning the calibration centre at stafford.

Ring the megger customer hotline. Number should be on the little gaurantee booklet that came with the machine - they are very helpful and free to call.

Had a code come up on mine last year when signing off a new CCU install. It wouldn't let me do pfc's & ze's. Turned out it was due to my Megger not liking 'interference or noise on the measurement line' ?

Agree with a Rusty196500, why don't they include in their operational guide all the fault codes which could be generated???

It could be like the fault codes on cars, the garage charges you £95 just to plug it in. "Oh Sir, our machine has come up with code 12345 and it will cost £50 + vat + the plugging in fee to fix it." Code 12345 turns out to be a 20amp fuse for the cigarette lighter. 10p from Halfords.
