Hi
has any one tried the new 1721 or 1731 yet?

Nope...but they look like a minor fashion upgrade...1721 has added type B rcd test,and 100V IR test.

Like the kit meself,but when you KNOW they could add a radio,a compass,talking commands,a torch and a camera...and probably only add £50 to the list...it is a slightly annoying trait,to to have them chipping off the second-hand value of previous models,by adding a minor tweak,to a new one:30:

The soft case on the 1731 is better that the plastic case & the software is V 2.10

Just got a MFT1721, version 2.11 now. The plastic case is okay but I think I will get another case in the new year. Everything just sloshes around in the hard plastic case apart from the merger.
