Straight from the megger manual.

To protect the MFT from overheating during Loop testing, thermal protection is fitted. If the message ‘HOT’ appears in the display when loop testing, the instrument must be allowed to cool down before further attempts are made at loop testing.

The RCD circuit has thermal protection fitted to prevent overheating in the event of multiple ramp tests being performed. The T symbol or the message "Hot" will be displayed. Allow the instrument time to cool down before continuing.

I saw that but my meter does it for every test regardless if it's the first test or not.
I'm guessing it's getting hot right from the start,must be a resistor or something else faulty
