Megger not beeping

My Megger MFT1552 has stopped making the four 'beep' sounds when carrying out a Zs/Ze test, anyone know how to get this setting back to normal as the beeping noise is handy when the meter is slung over shoulder up steps to let you know a reading is being taken!!!!

Unfortunately it would appear that the buzzer has failed.
This can be checked by connecting the testleads as if you were to conducting a lead null (shorted at the prods) and switching the MFT to the continuity/buzzer function. The unit can be checked for buzzer on / off by toggling the yellow test button.

If the buzzer has failed then a service will be required.

Is it more than 3 years old ?
As I am sure if you bought it new they came with a full 3 year warranty.
Just a thought.

My megger 1552 keeps saying HOT when trying carry out a low no trip loop or psc test any one have any answers please help
