It’s not Christmas yet until end of play Friday for me. I’ve still got a solar install, two flats to second fix, a first fix that got started yesterday to complete and a fire panel and two heads/bases to change

That’s a lot more than me I purposely only took on a handful of small jobs for each day for the wind-down.
Friday will be Chinese (and possibly a pint or ten) for lunch day I reckon and then it’s time to knock off for a well deserved rest, if I do say so myself no doubt though there will be the inevitable flood of phone calls though (the pints may need to wait)

Yes christmas is nearly here. I am planning a full 2 week shut down like you @MFS Electrical . But dare say ill be back to it before 7th of jan!

I will be working over xmas ,so i can put petrol in the rolls royce when i flying through the desert.

I am. I've got a few small jobs left tomorrow and Saturday but that's me done for 2018 unless I get a callout

I’m off for two weeks!
I grafted on a bit Monday and Tuesday so I could have an easy Wednesday and today......off tomorrow for our works party (which the lads have organised themselves, as the firm no longer puts one as nobody went to the last one a couple of years ago as a protest for stopping 10oclock breaks)
However this year for some reason unknown to mankind there’s being some fire alarm commissioning booked in for this Friday for TWO buildings.....TWO buildings! (Pleased it’s got nowt to do with me!)
Who books this sort of job on a Friday? And not just any old Friday....let’s hope there’s no open legs or faults
