Has anyone had any problems with the metrel mi3125?.
Mine today suddenly would not turn on ,unless the charge lead is plug in. Which makes it unusable. Is the meter broke or fixible. Have tried new batteries in it,make no difference.

Have you charged the batteries up lately?

Yeah i have loads of problems with them. Used them at work all the time and never done giving problems. Best bet is to throw it away before you waste any money like we did that could go towards a new better one

Yes i have charged the batteries, tried two different sets.

Hi, the battery terminals may just need re-tightening. They do loosen over time, try tightening them by using a screwdriver to increase the resistance that holds the batteries in place.

If this still doesn't work, it might be a fault in the internal charging circuit. If you give Steve a call on 0113 248 99 66 option 2, (Metrel's ex-Service Manager), he should be able to diagnose your fault over the phone.

Hope this helps!
