God Afternoon All,
This is my first post having had a brief look at recent postings on a a similar vein.
I am a 52yr old (young?) Master Mariner with a keen interest in electronics as a hobby and renewable energy.
I have already self-installed a 1.28kW solar PV system home which has been accredited although I am not a qualified or accredited electrician.
I am part way through addding another 2.5kW of solar panel and inverter to this system.
I am considering what are the the absolute minimum qualifications I need to be able to carry out electrical works on my own and others domestic properties (Part P?) and would allow me to install solar PV installations with a view to applying to the MCS for accreditation as a PV installer in domestic premises.
I'd appreciate advice from any and all.
Regards
Richard
