hi some advise on a problem, plumber ask me to reconnect a y plan that was to an existing installation. on completion I was carring out a minor works certificate and noted that the installation had no gas and cold earth bonding, I have noted this on a minor works certificate and informed the plumber. the landlord does not want any work carried out . was I wrong in doing this job to start with.
 
Typical, they'll spend any money that the gas gadgie tells them needs to be spent but when the sparky tells them something needs doing he's talking crap or it's not important.
As it's a reconnection I think you're in the clear mate
 
as above, but if you have completed a MWC, make sure it's noted on the cert. try and get a signature on the refusal to rectify.
