Missing Part 2 Certificate in 1997

Hi,
I am currently searching high and low for my orginal City & Guilds Certificate in Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part Two but cannot find it anywhere. I have the unit credit awards but not the final certificate. I applied to City and Guilds and they do not hold my full certificate.

Please could someone confirm how many components there were back in 1997. I completed 4 so does that mean I missed some out and that’s why I haven’t received a full certificate???

Guess you could try, where you took your course? Some people have trouble getting a certificate from C&G, from a course they've just done!

With all the drive towards certification of workers on schemes like RESET that has become an issue . As these schemes want the originals they won't accept copies. Lots of guys had a nightmare trying to get there certs. 1 problem was wen courses were taken by previous employers and trying to get the original certs off of them. And of course city and guilds from 70s 80s + 90s wasn't as well organised as it is now they have a paper folder in some store room just getting them to search for it is the problem.
