Discuss Model EICR in OSG contains mistake(s) in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

May be its a deliberate mistake to see how many people spot it. I can see another version being published - more money to sepnd

There is also another anomaly, Observation 6 states "No additional protection to low voltage circuits in bathroom, C3" I think no 30mA RCD or alternatively no supplementary bonding in a 701 special location warrants a C2.

There will be lots of them. The proof reader will have been on the beer. You will find that they will disappear as and when new print runs are done.

No can't agree with that.
A C2 indicates the installation is unsatisfactory, yet technically we could still be wiring installations to the 16th, if the design pre-dates the introduction of the 17th.
As such I could finish an installation today, and tommorow it would fail.

The cut off point was that all installations had to be designed to the 17th from the 1st of July 2008.
Just the same as installations designed from the 1st of January 2012, have to be to the ammendment.

On page 172 records the protection device as BS 3871 (me thinks this is the old Wylex push button MCBs) so that takes a bit o finding you cannot say they dont keep you on your toes ie why make it simple when they can complicate it
