Hi, first off apologies if this is a daft question I’m having an absolute mental block..

Scenario is:

I have three rooms all on the same circuit and all controlled via a one way switch, i need to put a PIR in each room, now would this not operate all the rooms regardless of which room someone walked into?

How do I resolve this so I end up with a PIR in each room that only operates the lights - which are off of kliks/Greg’s in the ceiling void - in that room!?

Any help massively appreciated

First off blank the switch to give every room a pl

Then drop the live Greg feed into pir
Out of pir into light

Plenty of lights now com with a microwave senser as a option in that case Greg flex straight into light

So will the PIR(s) switch on all lights still? Are we talking suspended ceilings? Presumably 20/25mm conduit as well? So you may have to put in a perm. live for the PIR as most I have used require L and N then sw. L from the PIR. I usually use 4c. flex to the PIR with the L and N plus the switch out to the light on a 4 pin Klix.

now would this not operate all the rooms regardless of which room someone walked into?

Yes if it is on one circuit and you are planning on wiring the PIR's up in parallel from the existing switch wiring it will illuminate all rooms.

To achieve this you will have to split existing circuit (or rewire) As each PIR will require a switch wire to lighting in the required rooms only.
